About Forest Path

My vision and mission

My mission is to live in harmony and joyful alignment with the planet, increase our self-reliance, and nurture our need for connection and community building.

Some of the ways I like to do this is to utilize what we have purposefully planted for food, tea, medicine/first aid, dues, building materials, attracting birds, pollinators, and beneficial insects, and building and regenerating soil and soil microbes.

Learning from and creating alignment with natural ecosystems

Permaculture is a whole and mindful philosophy, an ecological design system for harmonious and abundant living and being that is aligned with nature's rhythms.

My Philosophy

Do No Harm

Use natural products.

Tread mindfully.

Increasing our self-sufficiency and connection to the Earth.

Produce as close to zero- waste as possible. There is no waste in nature!

Reduce or eliminate our fossil fuel consumption where and when possible.

I assist people in:

  • Creating food forests or forest gardens, including pollinator and medicinal plants (if desired), and plant guilds on their urban properties.

  • Exploring lawn alternatives.

  • Exploring rainwater harvesting options.

  • Urban homesteading.

Since the fall of 2022, I have completely immersed myself in the study of permaculture, planning and creating my food forests, soil health/compost, herbology, and learning how to be more self-sufficient and I am excited to share this with you!

Are these elements something you have been dreaming about exploring or incorporating? If so, please feel free to reach out with any questions!
